What a brilliant idea this is, the only complaint I have is that there is no screen cover incorpoated in the unit which leaves the screen open to scratches and knocks. That aside the extra battery life is great and if you are only using it to power the ipod side of things or to boost your battery charge this is very good.

Ordered this to expend the battery life on my iPhone 3GS 32Gb when using the Walkmeter GPS exercise tracking app.
I normally get 6 - 8 hours usage out of the phone when using the app with the onboard GPS, and was looking to extend this.
The case itself is make of a light plastic, with ports for the speakers and the 4 blue LED lights doen the side to display the remaining charge left in the packs battery. My phone slipped into the case very well, although there is a little play in the top portion of the case.
The Powerskin had no affect on GPS performance, and will re-charge the phone to 80% battery life - when the phone is in standby.
I've tested it with the last iOS 3 version as well as iOS 4 and it worked fine.
A few downsides though. The cases material are poor and my case is cracking around the power button on the case after very moderate use. The case also gets very hot while it re-charges the phone.
Does what it says - i'm just not sure for how long.

I have been 'blown away' by the length of time made available by my new Mili. My iPhone had a power consumption issue, running low very quickly - but with this Powerskin, I get about two days use out of each charge now. Happy days

Well constructed and a good fit on the phone.
Downside is that you can only charge from a computer and it doesn't quite give 100% top-up but enough to keep you going.
