Product Description Q: How do I choose the right size wall mount bracket for my LCD/Plasma TV? Is this TV Bracket compatible with my TV? A: - Check the back of your TV and find the four threaded holes (if there is no threaded holes or less then four holes, then the TV is not classified as wall-mountable);
- Measure the horizontal and vertical distances between them (in mm); for example, horizontal = 400mm vertical =200mm;
- Select a bracket whose supported max. mounting-hole pattern is larger than one you have just measured; but the overall size should be smaller than the TV otherwise the bracket will be stickout from the back of the TV;
- You might also want to check whether the TV connections/ports is facing backward or not, if yes then do NOT select super slim wall brackets like PLB104 and PLB105 series because you might have great difficulties to get the cables into the slim space between the TV and wall.
Don't just look at the TV sizes mentioned on the item title, it is only for general references. If you are still not sure if your TV is compatible with this Wall Mount or not, please Check our BracketFinder www.pickanoffer.co.uk The Allcam PLB105 series of super slim TV wall Mount Bracket have four sizes. - PLB105S: for 22-37" TV/Monitors;
- PLB105M TV Bracket, for 32-55" TV/Monitors;
- PLB105L TV Bracket, for 40-60" TV/Monitors;
- PLB105XL: for extra large TVs with the distances between wall-mounting holes larger than VESA 800x400
As good as the £80 ones in shops! Sent: 05 January 2009 This does exactly as it says, i have a 37" LCD hanging from it and wouldnt think twice about hanging even a 46" from it. Comes with all you need to get it up and dosent take long at all. Black colour is a good idea but you dont actually see the mount at all!
Brilliant product and would highly reccoment, Comet will try and sell you a similar one for £80 and having looked at both you would be mad to spend that much!
Great value LCD TV wall mount Sent: 03 January 2009 Just bought this wall mount for my 32ins LG TV (LG 32LG7000) and it is fantastic! Delivery was quick and it is fairly easy to install. I wanted the TV as close to the wall as possible and this really does the job. The mount is also fully hidden by the TV.
Just a few things you might want to note if you have the same TV - I had to cut off about 100mm from both of the two uprights to accommodate the TVs power cable and bulge. I also used the spacers that came with the mount together with the longest bolts but i had to cut these down by about 4/5mm to allow them to screw fully into the TV (I didn't want to crack the screen or anything daft!) Neither of these jobs is a big deal if you have a hacksaw and work bench, especially if you consider the cost of an LG wall mount.
I also used radiator rawl plugs and normal screws to attach the mount to the wall (it hasn't fallen off yet!). 6 along the top and 6 along the bottom, much easier than the bolts supplied.
All in all an excellent product for both cost and use.
Great bracket. Sent: 08 December 2008 I have my Panasonic TH50PZ70 hanging on this and it's great. My particular TV has a recess at the back so that scart leads, HDMI cables fit in with no problem. You need to attach the cables to the screen before putting the TV up though but the TV looks great almost flush to the wall. The bracket is made of thick metal, there's no way thats going to bend or break.
Its also height adjustable. The brackets that fit directly to the back of the TV can be moved up and down and then also have 3 heights that fix onto the wall bracket.
It comes with loads of screws for different types of TVs and it also comes with spacers that you can either use to push your TV further out from the wall or they are used if you're TV has a curved back.
I have a plasterboard, air, breeze block wall so I didn't use the coach screws that came with them. The manual does state that the screws included are for masonry, concrete walls only. I've used some screws called M6 'rigifix' screws [] instead, these are perfect for plasterboard & breezeblock/ airbrick walls. Screwfix do these or I found them half the price on ebay.
Good Value Bracket Sent: 28 September 2008 I ordered this bracket for my Pioneer 5080XD because I didn't want the TV sticking out too far - the Plasma is quite deep (about 4") and it holds the TV only 1" away from the wall. This is perfect because I am bringing the wall out a few inches so the screen will look like it's an inch thick.
It comes with all the fixings you need - a range of bolts to attach the bracket to the TV and some 3" concrete bolts to fix to the wall. It is very strong and once attached to the wall it's rock solid. The locking bar is useful - once the tv is on the wall this bar slides through the slots preventing the tv from being lifted off.
I can't see why anyone would pay hundreds for a bracket when this does the job perfectly.
Excellent Sent: 15 September 2008 Bought this for a Sony 40 KDL3000V. Easily fitted and installed in under 30 mins. It even has its own spirit level attached to bracket. No problems with cables, although I don't have any Scarts plugged in. Very secure and well built.
