Good - but.........  Sent: 04 November 2008
I bought this phone on the basis of previous good reviews, however, there are a couple of knock-backs which buyers should be aware of:
The supplied Chinese made rechargeable batteries were useless. Decent replacements will help.
The recharge facility on the base unit doesn't cut out when the batteries are fully charged with the phone left on the unit. I have contacted OneTel's help line but haven't received a reply to my query on this as to whether it's safe to leave it on the cradle (obvious place for it as with my previous phone.)
The phone's OK with good features but I find this issue disappointing hence only 3 stars.

After a lot of search on the internet I've decided to purchase this phone. I'm very happy with my choice. It's a very nice, compact phone. I bought from Amazon and the delivery was super quick.
If you're looking for an inexpensive phone this is the one. And it comes with an answering machine which is very handy.

This is a fantastic little phone! Sound quality is great,this was a replacement for my Phillips Doro, which eventually died after 3 years. For the money you cannot find or use better. looking for a replacement phone, look no further!With the base as the answerphone you can tell at a glance if you have any messages, unlike the Phillips where you had to keep taking the the phone of the charging cradle just to check if messages had been left. a very impressive 100 name phone book, and very easy to use

Bought one for a friend too - sound quality is great and answerphone is good - for such a small light, cheap phone - its the best I've ever bought
