I used this cable to hook up the PS3 to the TV, plugged it in and set everything up, great.
It worked perfectly!
So why the two stars?
It died two days later with the cause of death: Loss of sound.
There was no sound from the PS3 to the TV.
Ordered a Component cable for now as I dont trust cheap HDMI cables anymore.

Please don't be put off by the low price of these HDMI cables. I ordered 2 of these to use with a Sony Bravia and Home Cinema System and they work perfectly. You can buy HDMI cables that cost nearly 10 times this and come in fancy moulded plastic case but don't bother wasting your money, just get these instead.

After speaking to friends who got "an absolute bargain HDMI cable for £15", I was a bit dubious about this three quid one.
But I needn't have been. It works brilliantly and it doesn't feel cheap. It is gold plated and feels sturdy. This is the shorter 1 metre cable as I didn't want to add to the mass of wires behind my telly.
I am very impressed with the improved image I now get, and had a geek-out when I saw that by plugging in an HDMI cable I had access to locked menus on my TV! W00T!
