Very very simple to use. Extremely simple to record up to one hour of video and also super simple to upload it to any website (utube or similar)
I received this as a Christmas present and class it as essential to have it with me at all times already. It is small and unobtrusively fits into a pocket or handbag makeing it easy to transport. Being about the size and weight of a mobile phone taking it along is no problem to me.

Bought one of these for my 10 year old daughter this Christmas. The simplicity of the unit appealed, I thought it would be used, and it has.
It has proved to be an excellent device, the quality of the picture and the sound is way beyond initial expectations. Works well both indoors and outside. The software is easy to use.
All in all an excellent little camcorder well worth the money

I also bought 2 of these white and black.
I can only find one word to describe the product and that is FANTASTIC.
I would seriously recommend this to anyone and also I would strongly recommend to buy from Amazon whose customer service is abso;utely second to none.

I bought a Flip Mino a couple of months ago. It's beautiful to own and dead simple to operate. The picture quality is perfectly acceptable if you accept that it's not a high-end camcorder. The sound is okay, but could be better. However, I had a BIG problem, in that mine locked-up three times in the first few weeks. First and third time it was the Pause/Record button that froze. The second thime it was the Power On/Off button. In fact, the third failure occured on the very day I got it back from the seond repair. I followed all the instruction about how to re-set it, but nothing worked and it had to go back to the supplier three times. The third time I asked them for a refund,which they gave me (though I'm still out-of-pocket on the postal costs). Such a shame - I loved owning the camera, but it just wasn't reliable. Hence only two stars.

After a very poor experience with the similar Kodak Zi6 product (not purchased from Amazon) the store suggested I give the Flip Mino a go. I'd seen a lot about Flip in the press so I was intrigued if it would live up to all the hype. What can I say, wow, it does more than live up to the hype - its fantastic! Its just so simple to use and the picture and sound quality is brilliant (It comes with the correct cable to plug into your TV). I then plugged into my PC and the very intuitive software is a real dream...its so easy. You can email your clips, 'one-touch' up-load to all your favorite sites like You Tube, My space etc, and if you really want to add a touch of professionalism to your clips you can even edit and mix your clips and add your own MP3's stored on your PC. Quite simply put this is a fantastic bit of kit that I'd whole heartedly recommend to anyone.
