I have a very recent model laptop and the common 21" TV set.It should be pretty straight forward to get this working. But it didn't.

You plug one end into your computer and the red/white ends into the appropriate jacks on your television or hi-fi. This cable is extremely cheap and is a full 3 m long.

I purchased this wire to link my pc to my HDTV to get sound from my PC out of my TV speakers. No such luck, couldn't get it to work. Probably the wrong type of wire. Any ideas which wire i need please let me know!! Can't complain at the price though.
